pyka_lens is a tool for iPad that allows you to creatively explore your physical surroundings and capture the multimedia ingredients required to construct your own interactive digital Moments.

The pyka_lens platform is made up of 2 key modes: create and explore. In create mode, users are able to capture images, sounds, and text from their surrounding environment and then edit and curate this media to sculpt interactive digital ‘moments’. In explore mode users are then able to browse through and interact with a growing library of ‘moments’ created and submitted by other users of the app from all around the world.

Using this platform as a window to the wider world around you, pyka_lens will enable you to make deeper connections with the variety of elements that make up your surrounding environment, enhancing your engagement with any location through mindful reflection and mixed media creativity. The interactive Moments that you create serve as artistic interpretations of the places and spaces you have physically explored as a result of the creative processes involved in using this tool.
